6 Months & Counting

Today my baby Jack is 6 months old! It is hard to believe and yet at the same time I can't imagine life without him. He is the sweetest little baby and I thoroughly enjoy loving on him every chance I get. I have said it before and I will say it again, I could just kiss his face all day!!

Mr Jack is getting so big. He has been eating real food for about 2 or 3 weeks now. As much as I love to give my babies avacados, once he tasted a banana it was all over for the green stuff. He enjoys plain yogurt(the good stuff) and buttercup squash and of course the banana. I have succeeded in tricking him by mixing the avacado and banana together. So far so good!!

I have had 4 babies and none of them were ever interested in their feet until now. Jack loves his feet. He is always trying to eat them and like his big sister Morgan, socks are rarely found on his toes.

Other things that he enjoys right now include the amazing EXERSAUCER!!, watching Patrick, Ryan, and Morgan(hopefully not picking up any tips from them), being tickled(he has the cutest little giggle),rocking with mama and taking a tubby with Miss Morgan.

High on Jack's list of dislikes include mostly getting dressed or undressed and getting in his carseat. Other than that he is pretty easy to get along with.

Last weekend we had Jack dedicated at our church. It was nice because my mom and sister as well as some friends(the Williams and the Wilcoxes) came and shared in the service with us.

Jack got to spend the week with Gramma and Aunt Trish and we really enjoyed seeing them and having them stay at our house.

This weekend was Halloween, and while I am not particularly a fan of the holiday we had a great time with the kids. Patrick and Ryan were going to be Lego blocks, BUT mommy got a little busy and tired and so when we were at Kohls on Thursday night we got Transformer costumes instead.

Miss Morgan was a sunflower which is very fitting for her, and Jack wore a cute little lion costume that we have had since Patrick's first Halloween. We went "trunk or treating" at Ryan's school and had dinner, played games, and the kids made smores with Daddy at the bonfire while mommy passed out candy.

Tonight we went to youth group at church and Patrick busted his head open playing soccer. He was a very brave little guy and endured the ER without a tear, and Mommy is very proud of him. He ended up with 8 stitches total, 3 inside and 5 out. One could say he is like his mom who clocked many hours in ER's over the years for busting up her head in some adventure or another.

And so ends another night in "The Treehouse." Tomorrow is waiting for another adventure and my pillow is waiting for my head. God bless you my little angels and sweet dreams!
