Today is mine and Heath's anniversary. We have been married now for 12 years. It is amazing how fast time goes by. A lot has happened over the past 12 years. We started off our married life living apart for about 5 years. We both lived in West Virginia at the time and enjoyed our weekends together.
In 2001 we moved to Iowa. Heath and then I went to school at Palmer College of Chiropractic. That was a fun time. Other adjectives to describe it, grueling, difficult, long, short, fast, slow, enlightening, life changing.
On March 1, 2003, our first son, Samuel Patrick Treharne was born. He was born on his due date after a day and a half of labor. He is a wonderful little baby and has grown so big so fast. Patrick is getting ready to start the first grade in 2 weeks, and is very excited.
Baby number 2 came along on April 18, 2005. Ryan Harrison got off to a rough start having to stay in the NICU for his first 10 days, but he is strong and healthy and has a full of energy at any given moment. He also will be starting school at the end of the month and is very proud to be doing what his big brother Patrick does.
In October 2005, Daddy graduated from Palmer. What a proud day for our family. Heath is an amazing husband, dad, and doctor. He puts 100% into all he does and we thank God for his devotion. I graduated not long after in February of 2006. Incidently that same February I take credit for willing the Steelers to win the Super Bowl. Tree of Life Chiropractic officially opened its doors the next day and has been steadily growing ever since.
2007 arrived and with it came our third child. A girl!! Little Miss Morgan Kate was born on Ash Wednesday, February 21, 2007. She is so much fun, and worlds different from her brothers. She loves shoes and dresses and will tell you her name is "Morgan Princess."
We were pleasantly surprised when God decided to bless us with yet another child. A third son! Baby Jack Thomas, affectionately known as baby Jack-Jack was born on May 1st, 2009. He is a joy. Jack is such a good baby. A smile is never far from his lips. I could just kiss cheeks all day!!
This blog is meant to be a way to document the times we have as a family so that we can look back from time to time and count our blessings, giving God the glory for this wonderful life we have. I hope to update it regularly with new events as well as to record some of the things that have gone on thus far in the lives of our precious kiddos.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24
